This is all going to be moving
I decided not to go the pseudo-anonymous route, and instead I'm going to be adding blog software to my real school webpage and expand the whole "student life" section into semi-regular blog posts (we'll see how that goes). That means less freedom to say anything, as I'm not anonymous and people searching for me professionally will bump into my blog, but maybe more helpfulness. I found out some people liked my links page, and I think I can make it better. So if you happen to bump into this corner of the internet, I will post a link to the new blog as soon as it set up. Maybe during the tail end of vacation.

and by posting on my blog you have lost your ability to hide from the prying eyes of me! All your layers of secrecy slowly drifting away.... float float float... I hope you are enjoying your trip lady! also, you should give the boys (hubby and our favourite danno) a big hello if you don't mind.
On a side note, I was reading one of your earlier posts, about the 97% acceptance rate at that conference, and what it would mean to not get accepted, and I just wanted to say I think I've been there. Not exactly there. as I don't write papers :P. yet. But somewhere like there... somewhere in that... I can't possibly be in the 97% category despite statistics telling me otherwise mindset. Anyways. I'm not sure what i hoped to achieve by saying that. but I said it. the end.
I hope you are swimming with brightly coloured fish and having fruity smoothy thingies and enjoying yourself.
